SpaceBasic Founder Madhavi Shankar Wins Australian Alumni Grants Scheme
Madhavi Shankar, founder and CEO of Bengaluru-based edtech startup SpaceBasic, has been named one of the 13 recipients of the Australian Alumni Grants Scheme (AAGS). Organized by the Australian Consulate General in Chennai, the grant program supports Indian alumni of Australian universities in applying their academic expertise to entrepreneurial and professional ventures. The initiative seeks to strengthen bilateral ties between India and Australia while enhancing institutional collaboration. Shankar received the project grant to support the development and expansion of SpaceBasic's student housing and campus management software solutions.

Martech Startup Immensitas Secures ₹6.30 Crore Pre-Series A from Artha Venture Fund
Enterprise martech platform Immensitas Private Limited has raised ₹6.30 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Artha Venture Fund on July 27, 2021. The round also saw participation from LogX Ventures, founded by Ramakant Sharma. Founded by Subra Krishnan, Rinku Ghosh, and Praveen DS, Immensitas operates Lemnisk, a real-time customer data and marketing automation platform. Lemnisk processes approximately 475 million customer profiles each month and helps enterprise marketers improve digital revenues by up to 30%. The company plans to deploy the fresh capital to accelerate research and development, strengthen marketing, and expand enterprise sales pipelines.
