Shellios Secures Seed Funding from DST for Anti-Pollution PUROS Helmet
Delhi-based hardware startup Shellios Technolabs has secured seed funding from the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The startup has developed an anti-pollution helmet brand named PUROS, engineered to protect two-wheeler riders from toxic urban air. The patented helmet integrates air purification accessories, featuring a Brushless DC blower fan, High-Efficiency Particulate Air filter membrane, and customized electronic circuitry. Shellios claims the technology can reduce a commuter’s exposure to hazardous airborne pollutants by over 80%. The grant funding will support the manufacturing, commercial testing, and broader market rollout of the protective gear.
