According to Cisco’s Splunk State of Observability 2026 report, 43% of Indian enterprises struggle to manage AI costs, while 46% cannot effectively measure workload metrics. Surveying 2,050 IT professionals across 10 countries, the study found that 85% of Indian organisations consider monitoring AI workloads a top priority. Unexpected billing spikes cause operational strain for 54% of domestic respondents. Additionally, 39% lack clear business outcomes linked to AI monitoring, despite 87% emphasizing the need to track AI hallucinations. Cisco Chief Product Officer Jeetu Patel noted that managing autonomous agentic AI at scale requires rethinking enterprise observability.
