Adobe Acquires Peak XV-Backed Indian AI Martech Startup Rilo

Software major Adobe has acquired Indian AI martech startup Rilo for an undisclosed amount, marking its second Indian startup acquisition after Rephrase.ai in 2023. Founded in 2025 by IIT Bombay alumni Dhruv Jaglan and Georgi Boby, Rilo develops AI agents that execute complex marketing and go-to-market workflows using plain English prompts. The company had previously raised $1 million in seed funding from Peak XV Partners and DeVC. Post-acquisition, Rilo's standalone platform will shut down, and its team will integrate into Adobe to embed agentic AI capabilities across Adobe's enterprise marketing applications suite.
