Adobe Appoints IIT BHU Alumnus Anil Chakravarthy as CEO

Global technology major Adobe has named Anil Chakravarthy as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding longtime head Shantanu Narayen. Chakravarthy, an alumnus of IIT BHU, previously served as President of Adobe's Customer Experience Orchestration business unit. Prior to joining Adobe in 2020, Chakravarthy was the Chief Executive Officer at enterprise data management firm Informatica. His appointment continues the ongoing trend of Indian-origin leaders taking the helm at top multinational technology and enterprise software corporations across global markets.
