Odisha-based cleantech startup Bariflo Cybernetics has secured ₹2 crore in milestone-linked funding from MC² Plus, an innovation platform backed by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. Founded in 2018 by Mrityunjay Sahu, the company combines artificial intelligence software, IoT sensors, and automation to upgrade existing industrial effluent treatment plants. The capital will support commercial deployments and an upcoming pilot with state-run Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). Bariflo aims to capture India's expanding industrial water treatment market by lowering energy and chemical consumption during factory wastewater recycling processes.
