Stealth frontier AI research startup FYDY (Fuzzy Dynamics) is in advanced talks to raise $12 million in its maiden funding round at a $50 million valuation. Venture capital firms Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst are co-leading the investment. Founded in 2025 by Alapan Chaudhuri, Shivansh Subramanian, Anvay Karmore, Tanishq Chaudhary, and Zeeshan Ahmed, FYDY operates across San Francisco and India. The team is developing continuous-learning cognitive machines focused on artificial superintelligence, while also piloting OpenScientist, an AI studio platform assisting research laboratories with database exploration, mathematical problem-solving, and experimental workflows.
