Bengaluru-based autonomous aerospace startup Airbound has raised $37 million in a Series A funding round led by Greenoaks. Participating investors included DoorDash, Lachy Groom, Lightspeed, and Humba Ventures, bringing total funding to nearly $50 million since its 2023 launch. Founded by Naman Pushp, Airbound develops lightweight autonomous aircraft designed to carry 100 kg cargo or single passengers at lower transportation costs. Having completed over 1,000 autonomous test flights with Narayana Health for medical sample deliveries, Airbound will use the capital to accelerate engineering, commercial-scale manufacturing, and an intercity delivery project in Andhra Pradesh.
