Ajit Mohan Steps Down as Snap’s Chief Business Officer

Snap’s Chief Business Officer Ajit Mohan has resigned after nearly four years with the social media company, citing personal reasons to spend more time with his family in Singapore. Snap has named Ronan Harris, former President of EMEA, as Chief Commercial Officer to oversee advertising sales and go-to-market operations. Mohan joined Snap in January 2023 as President of Asia Pacific after leading Meta India as Vice President and Managing Director, before being promoted to global CBO in February 2025. During his tenure, India grew past 250 million monthly active users on Snapchat.
