Delhi-based alcoholic beverage startup Marmalade has raised ₹6 crore in a seed funding round from a syndicate of angel investors, including HomeLane co-founders Srikanth Iyer and Tanuj Choudhry, alongside Ashok Chokalingam, Robert Sellares, and Ishank Gupta. Founded in 2025 by Udit Mediratta and Surojit Bhattacharya, Marmalade creates modern spirits tailored for contemporary Indian consumers. Its flagship brand, Brightside, is an Indian craft whiskey developed alongside Amrut Distilleries. The startup will deploy the fresh capital to expand distribution into Mumbai and Maharashtra, scale sales operations, and strengthen brand-building initiatives across key retail markets.
