Venture capital firm Alpha Wave Ventures has offloaded 2.94 crore shares of eyewear unicorn Lenskart for ₹1,856.8 crore through multiple block deals on the National Stock Exchange at ₹630 per share. The transaction reduced Alpha Wave's stake by approximately 1.7%, leaving it with around 1.72% shareholding. Major buyers included the National Pension System Trust, which purchased shares worth ₹495 crore, followed by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund with ₹380 crore. Other institutional buyers included Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Whiteoak Capital. The move follows recent secondary stake sales in Lenskart by SoftBank, Temasek, and ADIA.
