Anant Ambani Launches Champions of Care Animal Welfare Initiative

Reliance Industries Executive Director and Vantara founder Anant Ambani has launched Champions of Care, a nationwide animal welfare initiative on World Animal Day. Announced following a two-day conference at Vantara in Jamnagar with Animal Welfare Board of India representatives, the programme partners with over 50 animal welfare non-profits across India. Targeting assistance for approximately two million animals annually, the initiative will provide veterinary equipment, ambulances, feeding programmes, and staff training, alongside funding infrastructure improvements such as solar installations, rainwater harvesting, and specialized quarantine shelters for rescue facilities.
