Anil Chakravarthy Appointed Adobe CEO to Lead AI-Driven Growth Strategy

Adobe has announced that Indian-origin executive Anil Chakravarthy will become its president and chief executive officer on December 1, 2026. Longtime CEO Shantanu Narayen, who has led the software giant since 2007, will transition to executive chair. Chakravarthy currently leads Adobe's customer experience orchestration and worldwide field operations, where he scaled products like Adobe CX Enterprise, GenStudio, and Adobe Experience Platform.
