Anthropic reported $17 billion in revenue for Q3 2026, marking a twelvefold year-on-year increase from $1.4 billion, according to updated IPO filings with the SEC. Despite rapid top-line growth, the AI lab posted an operating loss of $567 million, reversing from a $974 million profit in Q2. The loss was driven by $5 billion in short-term compute expenses and $2 billion in employee share-donation costs. Anthropic generated $33.2 billion in revenue over the first nine months of 2026 and disclosed commitments totaling $895.4 billion in infrastructure spending stretching through 2030.
