Apollyon Dynamics Sets Indian Speed Record With 498 km/h Drone

Hyderabad-based defence tech startup Apollyon Dynamics has entered the India Book of Records after its electric interceptor drone, Ahuti Mk II, recorded a certified top speed of 498 km/h, making it South Asia's fastest multirotor UAV. Incubated at BITS Pilani Hyderabad and founded in 2025 by Jayant Khatri and Sourya Choudhary, the startup builds autonomous aerial systems for the Indian armed forces. Designed by engineers Aman Virani, Manas Vichare, and Ishaan Suri, the drone intercepts hostile UAVs and loitering munitions. Apollyon Dynamics plans to develop a Power Cruise Missile platform by 2030.
