Ather Energy Posts Maiden Net Profit of ₹1.3 Crore in Q2

Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ather Energy achieved profitability for the first time in Q2 FY27, posting a consolidated net profit of ₹1.3 crore compared to a net loss of ₹154.1 crore in Q2 FY26. The Tarun Mehta-led EV maker turned EBITDA positive with margins expanding to 4.9% and adjusted gross margins reaching 24%. To address manufacturing capacity constraints, Ather announced an investment of ₹122 crore across its Hosur and AURIC facilities to expand annual production by 2.25 lakh units, targeting an overall annual capacity of 11.4 lakh units by Q2 FY28.
