Ather Energy Turns First-Ever Quarterly Net Profit in Q2

Electric two-wheeler maker Ather Energy reported its maiden net profit of ₹1.3 crore for Q2 FY27, reversing a net loss of ₹154.1 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal. Operating revenue surged 62.9% year-on-year to ₹1,464.2 crore, while EBITDA profit reached ₹74.2 crore. Scooter deliveries climbed 42% to 93,211 units. Facing monthly demand shortfalls of up to 20,000 units due to production limits, Ather plans to invest ₹122 crore to add 2.25 lakh units of annual capacity across its Maharashtra and Hosur factories alongside a new battery production line.
