Ather Energy Turns Profitable in Q2 FY27 as Revenue Jumps 63%

Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ather Energy turned profitable in Q2 FY27, reporting a net profit of ₹1.3 crore, compared with a net loss of ₹154 crore in Q2 FY26. Operating revenue jumped 63% year-on-year to ₹1,464 crore, driven by robust demand as the company sold 93,211 units during the quarter. Sequentially, operating revenue grew 20% from ₹1,217 crore in Q1 FY27. Total income reached ₹1,527 crore, supported by ₹62 crore in other income. Total expenditure rose to ₹1,526 crore, with raw material and battery cell costs accounting for ₹1,160 crore.
