Indian luxury horology brand Bangalore Watch Company (BWC) has raised $1.4 million in a seed funding round backed by a group of its own customers, including high-net-worth individuals and family office principals from India and overseas. BWC creates premium watches inspired by Indian heritage and design. The startup plans to deploy the capital to expand its footprint across two to three strategic international markets with active watch collector communities. It is also evaluating the addition of a new domestic retail presence to strengthen its positioning in the global independent watchmaking landscape.
