Gurugram-based EV battery-swapping startup Battery Smart has raised around ₹98 crore ($10 million) from existing investor Ecosystem Integrity Fund. The company allotted 18,000 CCPS at ₹54,407 each, taking its valuation to approximately ₹4,170 crore ($440 million). The capital forms a top-up to its Series C round, which earlier saw $19.5 million led by Rising Tide Ventures alongside Blume Ventures. Battery Smart operates battery-as-a-service swapping networks for electric two- and three-wheelers, catering heavily to gig workers. The proceeds will fund network expansion, capital expenditure, and working capital across key Indian urban markets.
