Battery Smart Raises $19.5 Million Series C at $430 Million Valuation

Gurugram-based electric vehicle battery-swapping startup Battery Smart raised 19.50 million dollars, or 185.5 crore rupees, in a Series C funding round at a post-money valuation of 430 million dollars. Existing investor Rising Tide Ventures led the round with 11.8 million dollars, alongside participation from Ecosystem Integrity Fund, which invested 49 crore rupees, and Blume Ventures with 25 crore rupees. Founded in 2020, Battery Smart operates a battery-as-a-service network for electric two- and three-wheelers. The company plans to deploy the fresh capital toward nationwide business expansion, capital expenditure, operational infrastructure development, and ongoing working capital requirements.
