San Francisco-headquartered AI accounting startup Inkle, which builds its core technology in Bengaluru, has acquired the bookkeeping arm of US-based small-business finance platform Finally in an all-cash asset deal for an undisclosed amount. As part of the transaction, about 100 Finally employees across the Americas will join Inkle’s 60-member Bengaluru engineering and tax team, taking its global workforce to 160. Founded by Anand Krishna and Ranvir, Inkle previously served venture-backed tech startups and will now expand its AI-powered bookkeeping services to non-tech American small businesses like clinics and restaurants.
