Bengaluru Deeptech Startup Pranos Fusion Secures $7.22 Million In Funding

Bengaluru-based nuclear energy startup Pranos Fusion has raised approximately $7.22 million across two funding rounds to develop commercial fusion energy infrastructure in India. The rounds were co-led by pi Ventures and Ankur Capital, with backing from Industrial47 and angel investors including Groww’s Lalit Keshre and Razorpay's founders. Established in 2024 by CEO Shaurya Kaushal and COO Roshan George, the deeptech company is co-incubated at the Institute for Plasma Research and JNCASR. Pranos Fusion is developing proprietary technology including its JENGA design software, MAGGA superconducting magnets, and the PRAGYA tokamak system.
