Bengaluru-based biotech startup ImmunitoAI is leveraging artificial intelligence to design custom antibodies for targeted therapeutics. Founded in 2020 by Dr Aridni Shah and Trisha Chatterjee through the talent accelerator Entrepreneur First, the startup operates a proprietary platform called AbInitio. The platform designs antibodies for selected disease targets and epitopes, which the company subsequently validates inside its own wet lab. Originating from Shah's biological research at NCBS-TIFR, ImmunitoAI aims to resolve critical bottlenecks faced by global pharmaceutical companies in antibody discovery by replacing traditional screening with generative AI design.
