Fintech major BharatPe announced the appointment of Aparna Kuppuswamy as its Chief Risk Officer to strengthen governance and risk management across its financial services portfolio. Kuppuswamy brings nearly three decades of experience in the consumer banking sector, having previously served in senior leadership roles at SBI Cards. Throughout her banking career, she developed extensive expertise in overseeing retail credit portfolios, mortgages, unsecured personal loans, and credit card risk frameworks. In her new role, Kuppuswamy will lead the risk assessment strategy and regulatory compliance across all BharatPe Group entities and lending products.
