BharatPe Appoints Paytm Veterans Yugal Tiwari and Kamal Sharma

Fintech firm BharatPe has appointed two former Paytm executives to strengthen its product and engineering leadership. Kamal Sharma, former assistant vice president of engineering at Paytm, has joined BharatPe as assistant vice president of engineering for its consumer vertical. Additionally, Yugal Tiwari, former senior vice president of product at Paytm, is set to join the fintech firm as chief product officer. Tiwari fills the executive vacancy created by Rohan Khara’s departure in June. The high-profile hires reflect BharatPe’s continued strategy of poaching experienced talent from rival Paytm to strengthen its digital financial services ecosystem.
