Bihar Partners with Google Education, 10 IT Firms for Teacher AI Training

Bihar's Education Department has partnered with 11 IT companies, including Google Education, to train government school teachers in artificial intelligence and digital tools. Supported by the Union government's skill development department, the centralized training will be hosted at the SCERT campus starting in January. School principals will nominate teachers for batchwise sessions. The initiative aligns with Bihar's broader plan to make computer education compulsory from Class 6 in the upcoming academic session and establish smart classrooms across 700 model schools, according to Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari.
