BPCL Pilots Grocery Delivery Alongside LPG Cylinders Across Key States

State-run Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is piloting an ecommerce service to deliver groceries, household essentials, and consumer durables directly to customers alongside regular LPG cylinder refills. The pilot is currently underway across select districts in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Under this initiative, BPCL is converting selected LPG distributorships and its In&Out convenience stores at petrol pumps into local dark stores and order fulfillment centres. In addition to grocery logistics, the public sector undertaking is developing a proprietary payment gateway integrated with its HelloBPCL mobile application to expand its high-margin non-fuel retail operations across India.
