Hyderabad-based B2B edtech startup byteXL has raised $9 million (around Rs 86.7 crore) in a fresh round led by Elevar Equity, with participation from Kalaari Capital and The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Founded in 2019 by Karun and Sricharan Tadepalli, byteXL partners with engineering colleges in Tier II and III cities to integrate tech and AI skilling into regular coursework. The company plans to use the capital to expand its network from 40 to 120 institutions, targeting 5 lakh students across 15 Indian states over the next two years.
