Cars24 FY26 Operating Revenue Drops 18% to ₹5,092 Cr

Used-car marketplace Cars24 reported an 18.3% decline in operating revenue to ₹5,092 crore for FY26, down from ₹6,233 crore in FY25, according to its RoC filings. Revenue from core car sales across auction and retail channels dropped 22.7% to ₹4,349 crore, marking a second consecutive year of shrinking scale. Financial services, including Loans24, contributed ₹653 crore to operating revenue. While car procurement costs fell 23.7% to ₹4,212 crore alongside business contraction, Cars24 saw employee benefit expenses surge 33.4% to ₹806 crore during the fiscal year amid ongoing layoffs and senior-level executive departures.
