CBI Extradites Mahadev Betting App Promoter Sourabh Chandrakar From Oman

The Central Bureau of Investigation has extradited Sourabh Chandrakar, a promoter of the illegal Mahadev Online Book betting platform, from Oman to India. Chandrakar was detained by Royal Oman Police following an Interpol Red Corner Notice and faces chargesheets from both the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate for money laundering and illegal betting operations. The platform allegedly functioned through a widespread network of franchised panels that enrolled users to place illicit bets on cricket and other events, routing funds through mule bank accounts. He is scheduled to appear before a special court in Raipur.
