The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Dutch investment group Prosus's proposal to acquire a minority stake in Bengaluru-based fintech firm Navi Ltd. The transaction will be executed through Prosus's investment arm, MIH Payments Holdings BV. Founded in 2018 by Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal, Navi provides financial services spanning digital payments, personal lending, insurance, and mutual funds. The regulatory nod follows Navi's announcement in August of securing $100 million from Prosus in its first institutional funding round, designed to help scale its digital lending and financial services portfolio across India.
