The Competition Commission of India has cleared global investor Prosus’s $100 million investment to acquire a minority stake in fintech firm Navi. Founded by Sachin Bansal, the IPO-bound company provides personal loans, home loans, health insurance, and UPI services through its consumer-facing app. This marks Navi’s first external institutional fundraise since its inception, backed by Bansal's longstanding relationship with Prosus. Ashutosh Sharma, head of Prosus India investments, highlighted Navi’s technology-first model and user base. The regulatory green light clears a major hurdle ahead of the company's planned public listing in India.
