The Chhattisgarh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, approved a Rs 500-crore Artificial Intelligence Mission on Wednesday to position the state as an emerging technology hub. Aligned with the central government’s IndiaAI Mission, the state initiative focuses on integrating artificial intelligence across education, governance, industry, startups, and skill development. Over the next five years, Chhattisgarh plans to establish 100 AI Data Labs and five dedicated Centres of Excellence. The mission aims to build foundational digital infrastructure, foster homegrown technological innovation, and improve public service delivery through automated, data-driven administrative systems.
