USDC stablecoin issuer Circle Internet Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Singapore-based B2B cross-border payments infrastructure provider Tazapay in a $400 million stock transaction. Expected to close in 2027 pending regulatory approvals from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the deal will accelerate Circle’s cross-border settlement infrastructure across APAC and emerging markets. Tazapay currently processes over $25 billion in annualized payment volume, with stablecoins representing approximately 60% of transactions. The platform integrates with over 60 banks and fintechs across more than 100 markets, enabling Circle to expand instant USDC payment rails globally.
