Coforge Launches Autonomous Software Factory to Coordinate AI Agents

Noida-based IT services firm Coforge has introduced the Autonomous Software Factory (ASF), an enterprise platform designed to coordinate AI agents across the software development lifecycle. The system orchestrates specialised agents performing coding, testing, validation, code review, and quality assurance in parallel within secure environments. According to Vic Gupta, Executive Vice President of Coforge's Microsoft Business Unit, the platform addresses enterprise needs in a post-coding era where managing agent coordination and governance is critical. The framework incorporates human oversight and quality controls as Indian IT services companies increasingly integrate agentic AI frameworks into their core engineering delivery operations.
