Origin, a physical AI startup developing interior construction robots, has raised $20 million in total funding in a round co-led by Accel and Zacua Ventures. The round saw participation from Unilazer Ventures, Schema Ventures, and Z21, alongside angel investors from Anduril, Skild AI, 1X, and Tesla. Founded in 2025 by Yogesh Ghaturle, Ashish Daga, and Tushar Makkar, Origin builds robots powered by its Construction Action Model foundation AI. Its flagship robot, OG-1, automates wall finishing across commercial and residential sites. Origin plans to expand its robot fleet and conduct customer pilots across the US, Europe, and Saudi Arabia.
