Odisha-based deep-tech startup Coratia Technologies has raised ₹18 crore in a bridge funding round led by MGF Kavachh. The company previously secured ₹17 crore in a pre-Series A round from MGF Kavachh, Piper, and SIDBI. Founded in 2021 by Debendra Pradhan and Biswajit Swain, Coratia builds indigenous underwater robotic systems such as its TRL-9 rated Jalasimha UWROV. The fresh capital will help execute a ₹66 crore Indian Navy contract under the iDEX initiative, accelerate research and development, and scale manufacturing for defence and critical infrastructure applications across ports, dams, and subsea networks.
