Cult.fit Cofounder Rishabh Telang Moves High Court To Quash FIR

Cult Fitness cofounder Rishabh Telang has approached the Karnataka High Court seeking to quash a First Information Report filed against him by cofounder Deepak Poduval. While the court declined an immediate stay on the police investigation, it noted Telang will not face immediate arrest under Section 35 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. Poduval filed the complaint alleging forgery, cheating, and criminal conspiracy over a 2016 transfer of assets and intellectual property from Cult Fitness to Cultfit Healthcare without compensation. The High Court has sought responses from the state and Poduval ahead of a September 2 hearing.
