D2C fashion and accessories brand Theater has secured ₹75 crore ($7.8 million) in a Series A funding round led by Niveshaay. The round included participation from new investor Physis Capital alongside existing backer Prath Ventures, valuing the startup post-money at ₹410 crore ($43 million). Founded in 2021 by Sarthak Aggarwal, Vikram Jain, Karan Jain, and Shruti Aggarwal, Theater offers mass-premium footwear, stockings, bags, and perfumes. The startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand its physical retail presence across Tier I and Tier II cities and invest in celebrity partnerships and marketing campaigns.
