Melanin-focused D2C skincare brand Asaya has raised ₹88 crore ($9.1 million) in a Series A round led by RPSG Capital, with participation from OTP Ventures, Huddle Ventures, Hyperscale Ventures, and 72 Ventures. The funding round valued the company at ₹400 crore ($41.8 million), a threefold increase from its previous valuation. Founded in 2021 by Neeraj Biyani, Eeti Sharma, and Mandeep Bhatia, Asaya will deploy 20% of the proceeds toward R&D for its proprietary formulations. It will also use the funds to expand offline distribution, double its headcount, and scale its ₹100 crore ARR.
