Spiritual tech startup Vama has secured ₹19.03 crore ($2.1 million) in an ongoing Pre-Series A funding round led by Dainik Bhaskar's family office, Writers and Publishers Private Limited, with a ₹12.50 crore infusion. The round also saw participation from Wavemaker Partners, Silver Needle Ventures, Tata Play CEO Harit Nagpal, Swati Parikh, Vinay Mittal, and Nikhil Bhandarkar. The fundraise values the Delhi-based startup at approximately ₹180 crore. Founded in 2020 by Acharya Dev and Manu Jain, Vama offers virtual temple services, astrology consultations, and spiritual products.
