Deepinder Goyal's Startup Temple Releases First Brain Flow Wearable Validation Study

Temple, a wearable health-tech startup founded by Deepinder Goyal, has published its first validation study assessing its brain flow tracking technology. Submitted as a preprint for peer review, the trial tested 23 healthy adults using transcranial Doppler ultrasound to measure cerebral blood-flow velocity during stationary cycling and postural shifts. Researchers reported a median correlation of around 0.8 between Temple's metric and arterial blood-flow velocity. The study highlighted that the wearable successfully identified blood-flow changes during postural shifts where conventional heart-rate monitors failed, though broader clinical trials remain pending.
