IIT Delhi-incubated deeptech textile startup IndigoTex has raised ₹5 crore in a funding round led by IAN Angel Fund, with participation from SIDBI, FITT, and IIT Delhi Angels. Founded in 2024 by Satendra Singh, Prof. B.S. Butola, and Dilip Singh, IndigoTex develops waterless wool finishing technology and wool-based fabrics, including IndiWool Denim and washable ECOTEX Wool. The startup will deploy the fresh capital to set up manufacturing, expand sales and operations teams, and commercialise products. Operating a facility in Sonipat, Haryana, IndigoTex has signed non-disclosure agreements with global fashion conglomerates Ralph Lauren and Kering Group.
