Defence Tech Firm Tonbo Imaging Swings to ₹23.5 Crore Q2 Profit

Bengaluru-based defence tech company Tonbo Imaging turned profitable in Q2 FY27, reporting a consolidated net profit of ₹23.5 crore against a net loss of ₹9.6 crore in Q2 FY26. The turnaround was driven by a 1,963% year-on-year surge in revenue from operations to ₹183.3 crore from ₹8.9 crore. Sequentially, the company bounced back from a net loss of ₹17.7 crore in Q1 FY27. Total expenses rose 610.5% year-on-year to ₹153.7 crore. Tonbo develops advanced imaging, sensor systems, fire-control systems, and missile seekers for military and surveillance applications.
