Delhivery Raises Customer Pricing Ahead of Festive Season Citing Rising Costs

Logistics major Delhivery has implemented a nominal adjustment to its customer pricing, citing rising manpower, fuel, air movement, and network costs. The move follows reports that Delhivery increased shipping charges for direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands ahead of the festive season, adding Rs 4 per express shipment and Rs 2 per surface shipment starting September 1. E-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart have also recently revised seller fees and penalty policies. Delhivery stated that its operational efficiencies and network density allow it to absorb a significant portion of external operating cost increases while maintaining competitive pricing for customers.
