Mumbai-based mass-premium western fashion startup Theater has raised ₹75 crore in a Series A funding round led by Niveshaay, valuing the company at ₹410 crore post-money. The round also saw participation from new backer Physis Capital alongside existing investor Prath Ventures, which had previously led the brand's $1.5 million pre-Series A round in September 2024. Founded in 2021 by Sarthak Aggarwal, Vikram Jain, Karan Jain, and Shruti Aggarwal, Theater offers footwear, stockings, bags, and perfumes. The startup plans to deploy the capital to build physical retail stores across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
