Dextrus Bets on Managed Workspaces to Scale Sustainably in Mumbai

16 Sept 2026, 5:00 pm · 3h ago · 1 min read · Inc42New

Mumbai-based premium coworking startup Dextrus is expanding its footprint in India’s flexible workspace market by prioritizing management contracts over traditional lease models. Founded in 2018 by Robin Chhabra, the company operates across four key locations in Mumbai, including BKC, Lower Parel, and Andheri, catering to startups, enterprises, and remote teams. As India’s flexible workspace transaction volumes climbed to 18.6 million square feet in 2025, Dextrus is leveraging management agreements to run office spaces on behalf of property owners. This asset-light approach allows the operator to scale sustainably without over-relying on heavy venture capital backing.
