Healthcare technology startup Docterz has raised Rs 5 crore from around 35 investors, including SUGAR Cosmetics CEO Vineeta Singh and former CaratLane CEO Avnish Anand. Notably, 20 doctor-users contributed nearly Rs 3 crore, representing about 60% of the total round. Founded by paediatrician Dr Atish Laddad, Docterz provides an integrated platform for electronic medical records, appointments, billing, and vaccination management, serving over 5,000 doctors across India. The startup plans to deploy the fresh capital to expand organically, explore strategic acquisitions, and develop artificial intelligence tools to assist doctors with clinical documentation and administrative workflows.
