ED Searches CoinDCX and Delta Exchange India Over Alleged Forex Violations

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at three premises linked to crypto exchanges CoinDCX and Delta Exchange India in Bengaluru between November 4 and November 5. The probe, carried out under FEMA 1999, investigates alleged unauthorised cross-border transactions involving crypto derivatives and tokenised foreign stocks running into thousands of crores of rupees. The ED claimed both platforms facilitated spot and derivatives trading alongside tokenised foreign shares without authorization. Delta Exchange stated it cooperated fully with authorities and denied any involvement in cross-border transfers of virtual digital assets. CoinDCX has not officially responded yet.
